Not only Turkish made pashminas, shawls and scarves, but fabulous handmade silk and wool capes. These gorgeous capes are made near Izmir, north of our village on the Aegean coast of Turkey. Unique and stunningly beautiful, like our pashmina range, the capes make perfect, (and easily posted) gifts – as well as being an extra-special and unique gift for yourself.

Also in our range are Turkish-made leather handbags. Made from soft and supple Turkish leather, with outer pockets back and front, as well as an inner zipped pocket and an adjustable leather strap, these lovely multi-coloured leather bags are the perfect accessory to compliment any wardrobe.

 

These beautiful pure silk shawls feature a traditional Ottoman design. The design is taken from the Ottoman era famous hand-painted Iznik tiles that covered the walls of the most important Ottoman buildings in Istanbul and throughout the Empire. The shawls are made in Bursa in North West Turkey from the finest, softest 100% silk with a satin finish. The shawls are 168 cms (66 ½ inches) long and 57 cms (22 ½ inches) wide.
